Donald E. Gibson, President & CEO of the Bank of Greene County Charitable Foundation, announced a grant to Catskill Mountain Housing Development Corp to assist elderly homeowners in Greene County make necessary home repairs.
Donald Gibson stated “this year, our Charitable Foundation is awarding $421,000 to local non-profit organizations. It is my pleasure to announce that as part of that donation, Catskill Mountain Housing Development Corporation is receiving a grant to help seniors with necessary home repairs.” Gibson added “I would like to personally thank Molly Whitbeck, Executive Director, for her assistance in designing and administering this elderly homeowner program for Greene County residents. This grant will be very impactful in supporting low-income senior homeowners residing in Greene County, and is designed to not only provide assistance for home repairs, allowing seniors to stay living in their home, but also to ensure the safety and quality of life for those seniors.”
Molly Whitbeck, Executive Director of Catskill Mountain Housing, stated “We are incredibly grateful to the Bank of Greene County Charitable Foundation for their generous grant. This funding is a vital contribution that will enable us to carry out essential home repairs for seniors and reflects a shared commitment to improving the quality of life for members of our community.
