CATSKILL, NEW YORK – Donald Gibson, President and CEO of the Bank of Greene County, announced that Scott Houghtaling has joined the Bank in a newly created Executive level position of Senior Vice President, Chief Credit and Banking Officer.
Donald Gibson stated “I am pleased to welcome Scott Houghtaling to the Bank of Greene County team. Due to our continued growth and success, we have decided to expand our team. Scott brings a wealth of experience serving businesses throughout both the Capital Region and greater New York State.”
Gibson added “It was a natural fit to have Scott join our team, as he has been in the Banking Industry for over 30 years, most recently as a Senior Managing Director at Berkshire Bank. Scott’s professional experience includes being the New York State Market Leader for Commercial Banking.”
Scott Houghtaling has many ties to the local community, graduating High School from Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Central School and obtaining his Bachelor of Science degree from Siena College. He is also very involved in the local community, serving as a Board Member for the Center for Economic Growth and a Board Trustee for Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Albany. Scott lives with his wife in Feura Bush and enjoys hiking and skiing.
