Donald Gibson, President & CEO of the Bank of Greene County, announces employee promotions across the Bank. Donald Gibson stated: “Due to the continued growth and success of the Bank, it is my pleasure to announce we have promoted several dedicated employees to positions of increased responsibility within various departments. It is particularly rewarding when all of the employees promoted are from within our company, and have grown with us over the years.”
Don MacCormack has been promoted to Vice President and Director of Municipal Banking. Don joined the Bank over 16 years ago, and is a graduate of the Bank’s Management Training Program. He is a graduate of SUNY Potsdam and holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the College of St. Rose. Don is an active member of the Kiskatom Volunteer Fire Department where he serves as a firefighter and Fire Commissioner. In addition, he is a member on the Greene County Medical Professional Advisory Committee. He lives in Catskill, NY.
John Dudek has been promoted to Assistant Vice President and Assistant Controller. John joined the Bank over 9 years ago, and has held positions of increased responsibility in the Finance Department. He is a graduate of SUNY Ulster and holds a Master’s in Business Administration from SUNY New Paltz. John lives in Kingston, NY.
Betsy Braley has been promoted to Regional Branch Officer. Betsy joined the Bank of Greene County Branch team in 2018, and has served the local community for over 25 years. Betsy holds an Associate of Arts from the Fashion Institute of Technology and an Associate of Science, General Banking, from the American Institute of Banking. She is very involved in the Columbia County Community, serving on the board of the Louis F. Payn Foundation and as Fair Director of the Columbia County Agricultural Society (Chatham Fair). Betsy lives in Chatham, NY.
John Heitzman has been promoted to Investment Executive. John joined the Bank as an Investment Services Representative over 5 years ago and has 10 years of experience in investment services. He is a graduate of SUNY Ulster and holds a Bachelor’s in Finance from SUNY New Paltz. John lives in Kingston, NY.
Keith DeMichele has been promoted to Branch Manager and Corporate Cash Management Specialist. Keith joined the Bank as the Wolf Road Branch Manager in 2020 and has more than 30 years of experience in Banking. Keith is very involved in the Albany community, and lives in Glenville, NY.
Danielle McCoy has been promoted to Corporate Cash Management & Private Banking Analyst. Danielle joined the Bank over 7 years ago, and has held positions of increased responsibility in both the Customer Service Center and Corporate Cash Management. Danielle is a graduate of the Center for Financial Training Atlantic & Central States and lives in Rensselaerville, NY.
Michelle Villela has been promoted to Enhanced Due Diligence Coordinator and Fraud Analyst in the BSA Department. Michelle joined the Bank over 7 years ago, and has held positions of increased responsibility in the BSA Department. Michelle lives in South Cairo, NY.
Eric Lloyd has been promoted to BSA and Fraud Analyst in the BSA Department. Eric joined the Bank in early 2021, and has held positions of increased responsibility in both the Branch network and BSA Department. Eric holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Economics from SUNY Oneonta and lives in Pleasant Valley, NY.
Amy Xedis has been promoted to Credit Analyst in the Credit Department. Amy joined the Bank as a Teller over 6 years ago, and is a graduate of the Bank’s Management Trainee program. Amy has held positions of increased responsibility within the Branch network and Lending Department. Amy is a graduate of Columbia-Greene Community College and holds a Master’s in Business Administration from The College of Saint Rose. Derek Roberts has been promoted to Associate Credit Analyst in the Credit Department. Derek joined the Bank as a Teller in 2020 and has held positons of increased responsibility within the Bank. Derek holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from SUNY Polytechnic Institute and lives in Rensselaer, NY.
Sharon Perrone has been promoted to Senior Collector in the Lending Department. Sharon joined the Bank 27 years ago, and has held positions of increased responsibility within the Branch network and the Lending Department. Sharon lives in Catskill, NY.
Rose Rock has been promoted to Senior Commercial Loan Originator. Rose joined the Bank over 7 years ago, and has held positions of increased responsibility in the both the Branch network and Lending Department. She has an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration from SUNY Ulster and lives in Hunter, NY.
Beth Mellan has been promoted to Senior ACH and Checking Processing Specialist in the Operations Department. Beth joined the Bank almost 35 years ago, and has held positions of increased responsibility in both the Branch network and Operations Department. Beth serves as Secretary of the Hudson Elks Lodge, and lives in Hudson, NY.
Stephanie Bink has been promoted to Senior Customer Service Representative in the Customer Service Center. Stephanie joined the Bank over 25 years ago, and has held positions of increased responsibility in both the Branch network and Customer Service Center. Stephanie has an Associate’s Degree in Human Services from Columbia-Greene Community College and lives in South Cairo, NY.
Kristen Martinez has been promoted to e-Services Analyst in the Customer Service Center. Kristen joined the Bank over 9 years ago, and has held positions of increased responsibility in the Branch network, Operations Department, and Customer Service Center. She has an Associate’s Degree in Human Services from Columbia-Greene Community College and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University.
