Donald E. Gibson, President & CEO of the Bank of Greene County Charitable Foundation, announced a grant to the Albany County Rural Housing Alliance to assist with emergency home repairs for low-income seniors residing in Albany County.
Donald Gibson stated “This year, our Charitable Foundation is awarding $421,000 to local non-profit organizations. It is my pleasure to announce that as part of that donation, the Albany County Rural Housing Alliance is receiving a grant to help seniors with emergency home repairs.” Gibson added “I would like to thank Tracy Gibeau, Executive Director of Albany County Rural Housing Alliance, for her assistance in designing and administering this program. This grant will not only address the immediate repair needs of seniors in Albany County, but will also provide them with long-term safety and peace of mind, greatly improving the quality of life for those seniors.”
